Kylee off oxygen

That is the best news of yesterday. She was on 21% oxygen all day yesterday (which is the same as room air), so they removed her C-pak last night. This means that Jonathan and Becca can now see her entire sweet face when they visit. Also, they were keeping her drugged so she wouldn't pull at the tube. Now she is also off the drugs so she is starting to open her eyes more. (The verdict is still out as to how big her eyes are :-) Becca is anxious to see her today without the big tube covering her face.

Kylee was still bleeding a little bit into the bubble on her head, so they had to give her a 4-hr blood transfusion last night. I'm still waiting to hear that all went well. She continues on antibiotics, and she still has the IV's in her belly button, so Becca is still unable to hold her. But she got to change her diaper and take her temperature.

Becca said it is hard being at home without Kylee, but she is indeed thankful for rest. Of course she continues to pump her breasts around the clock to encourage her milk supply and provide for Kylee once she is able to eat.

Thanks you for your prayers.
